About the Author
John E. 'Black Dragon' Bunch II is the National President of the Mighty Black Sabbath Motorcycle Club Nation where he has spent the last 24 years and is considered a 'lifer.' Dragon served out his prospectship at the Mother Chapter at 4280 Market Street San Diego, California where he crossed over and received his full patch. In 2000, Black Dragon advised writer/filmmaker Reggie 'Rock' Bythewood who co-wrote and directed the DreamWorks movie Biker Boyz. Black Dragon was a Technical Adviser on the film. Biker Boyz has been widely credited with re-birthing the Black Biker MC movement in the US. In 2009, Black Dragon brought the Black Sabbath MC east of the Mississippi to Atlanta as President. He was then assigned the task of expanding the Black Sabbath MC's chapters by then National President Paul 'Pep' Perry who also appointed him National Enforcer. Black Dragon suffered his first major setback in an Atlanta coupe that cost him the Presidency in December 2010. In February 2010, Dragon was unanimously elected National President of the Mighty Black Sabbath Motorcycle Club Nation. By 2012 Dragon successfully expanded the MC's reach nationwide with chapters that spanned from the West to the East coasts. During the past 24 years Dragon has published several motorcycle magazines including: Urban Biker Cycle News, Black Iron Motorcycle Magazine, Black Sabbath MC News Magazine, www.BlackSabbathMagazine.com and a phone app named Black Sabbath Motorcycle Club. Under Bunch Publications, John E. Bunch II also published Single Mom Parenting Magazine 2000, Caribbean Punch Magazine 2002, 'BE' Women's Health and Fitness Magazine 2003 and the political commentary blog www.IBeg2Differ.com 2008. I was disappointed, I found it too basic

I was disappointed, I found it too basic, some stuff is just obvious & also too much padding, some people are authors & others not, the author of this book clearly has experienced a lot & has lots of sound advise in his head but is not good in conveying this is writing & hence I started but just couldn't finish the book.

A lot of good information is presented for those unfamiliar with the MC world. I found the most of the anecdotal stories to be very useful and insightful. There was some redundancy in the material presented, however, I took that that as reinforcement to the importance of that respective subject.

    In addition to being a licensed pharmacist and management consultant, Anthony Leong has been a part-time film critic since 1997. A good primer to recent Korean Cinema

I have been interested in Korean cinema ever since I worked in Korea as an ESL teacher. My first Korean DVD purchases were Shiri and JSA, which I brought more for novelty and and as a momento of Korea than anything else, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised at the production values of both these movies. As a result, I have become a firm fan of Korean movies, and have added a number of titles to my DVD collection. This book will help me select some more good titles to add to the collection.

"Korean Cinema" fulfills a useful niche as it is basically a primer for Korean movies from 1998 to 2002 for newcomers to Korean cinema. The author reviews and rates a number of the movies made in this time span, from "Attack the Gas Station" through to "2009: Lost Memories", plus a couple of titles a couple of years older. The author also rates and discusses 10 Korean movies from that time period which he rates as must sees. It would be a good start for building a DVD collection. There is also a section devoted to the major personalities of the Korean movie industry, actors and directors. It is illustrated but only in black and white, and many of the pictures are of poor quality.

Ignore the low rating reviews of this book - the reviewers obviously brought this book expecting a serious textbook of Korean cinema, which if you actually read the advertising blurb for the book, it is most certainly not. There are books out there discussing the full history of Korean cinema, but make no mistake, this book is not one of them. It is strictly for the newcomers to the genre, and who has little knowledge of the Korean movie industry. It does have a chapter on the history of the industry in Korea, but it is only superficial, and it isn't the reason I brought the book anyway.

Especially ignore the twit who is critical of the author basing his movie reviews on english subtitles. Korean is a particularly difficult language to learn and to become sufficiently competent in the language to be able to follow a Korean movie without english subtitles is beyond the abilities of all but the most dedicated of people. The author of "Korean Cinema" does make it quite clear he is only a recent convert, and thus a beginner, in Korean movies.

This book would lend itself to an update every 3 or 4 years or so. There has been some considerably significant Korean movie releases since this book was first published, not least of which is "Tae-Guk-Gi". I also recommend checking out the website [...] which has movie reviews, talent profiles and other useful informative articles. The author of the site, Darcy Paquet, is listed in the bibliography of "Korean Cinema" a number of times.

Very informative and worth while reading on Korean Cinema from the late 1990's to the early 2000's. Lots of reviews that will inspire you to seek out some excellent movies. Prime has a great selection of Korean films.

His ability to solve medical mysteries can be a blessing: after a mother is accused of child abuse, Marion is able to use genetic analysis to diagnose brittle bone disease in the baby and to help return the infant to her mother. But his diagnostic skills become a curse when he tells his former college roommate that his toddler isn't just a slow starter but likely has Bardet-Biedl syndrome: the enraged friend never speaks to Marion again. About the Author
Robert Marion, M.D., is a professor of pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, is the director of clinical genetics at both the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx and Blythedale Children's Hospital, Valhalla, New York. He is the author of six published books, including the best-selling and timeless classics The Intern Blues and Learning to Play God: The Coming of Age of a Young Doctor.

Human Genetics for Caring Readers

If you ever wanted to know what a clinical geneticist does for a living or copes with the often dreadful news which must be delivered to parents, this book will be of great interest. Dr. Marion is a fine writer and provides an epilogue for each chapter bringing the reader up to date with both the patients and their families as well as with more recent developments in human genetics. The only flaw I have found is with the re-naming of the facilities with which Dr. Marion is known to be affiliated which can detract the reader. The names of the patients and their families have been changed to provide privacy and to prevent violation of the HIPPA law. I know Dr. Marion not only from his earlier books but also from his advice to me at an earlier stage of my career. He is a decent, intelligent physician with a caring heart. This is a combination which is rare.

Fascinating Book, and Well-Written

I bought the Kindle edition of this book, and my only regret is that the author's other books are not currently available on Kindle -- his writing is so good that I would buy them all!

His compassion for his patients comes through clearly, and the book does not 'talk down' to the reader, even though there is a lot of medical terminology; at the same time, he doesn't talk over the reader's head.

I loved the puzzle-solving aspect of this book, and also his description of some of the ethical decisions he must make, such as whether to discuss with a stranger a genetic anomaly (that will affect his life span and health)he can tell the stranger has by looking at him, or whether to bring up the obvious genetic issues the young daughter of an old college friend has.

Again, a fascinating book, one which I will probably re-read (which I usually don't do). I highly recommend it.

I have always been obsessed with genetics and as another reviewer stated I wanted a good read that was informative but also for pleasure. I loved this book so much I have read it 3 times loaned it to 2 professors so far and have told everyone and anyone who loves medicine and genetics about it. I promise you will love it!

Best concise guide to teaching I have seen

This book was required for my teaching courses at NAU. The bookstore had it because it was required for new graduates and was sold out before everyone got theirs. It was ordered several times so there would finally be enough. It has the best advice for classroom discipline, how to set up your classroom, checklists and reproducables for teachers. It is very well written and every new teacher should have one for referrence. I would recommend it for any teacher, new or seasoned. This book takes you through your first day and week of school so you have the best control of your classroom. It gives advice about how to set up learning centers, how children learn and how to motivate them, assessment and evals, teaching kids to care and home and community connections. It also teaches about working with other teachers and how to grow professionally. It has so much information in one place that it is very good to keep on hand at all times.

Paul Trott provides a valuable perspective for anyone who is involved in research and development in a corporate, or for that matter, academic setting.

If you find yourself, due to pursuing a passion for some subject (computer virtualization in my case), in a position where you are helping to develop, market or finance something that will make customers ask themselves "Who came up with that neat ideat" then you should read Mr. Trott's book. Mr. Trott provides insight into the different types of innovation that companies engage in, the lifecycle of new products and how organizations use their intellectual and technological assets to their advantage as well as customers and even society at large.

What I hate is the kindle edition and not the content of the book by itself. Searching is terrible and I would suggest people not to buy the kindle edition. Not well created.
