About the Author
Lorraine Nordmann is an experienced beauty therapist and lecturer. She is a senior tutor at Hugh Baird College, Liverpool and an experienced external verifier for the City and Guilds. Lorraine has consulted with HABIA (Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority) on the change in the syllabus requirements of the Beauty Therapy NVQs.
Alex Zotos was born into the world of beauty. His mother; an internationally renowned model; opened her school Â"Elly LukasÂ", in 1954 when women were not given many opportunities to be outwardly confident. As Principal of Elly Lukas College, he has kept his finger on the industry pulse globally and contributed to the industry in a positive and entrepreneurial manner. Alex has been a member of the International Spa Association (USA) education committee, Vice Chairperson of CIDESCO Schools Australia and Member of the Curriculum Maintenance Managers Board.

An indispensible guide for level 2 Beauty Therapy

As a Lecturer of Beauty Therapy I have found this book indispensible as a reference both for planning lessons and for my students for City and Guilds NVQ2 Beauty Therapy. I have met Lorraine Nordmann (an External Verifier for City and Guilds) whilst I was assessing students; and found her to be both exacting and knowledgeable. This book matches the teaching standards perfectly and so is ideal for students and Lecturers alike. There are clear learning objectives in all sections; and the book is easy for students to read too.
